Dit duurt geloof ik nog wel even. Ik ben bezig op mijn werk pc, en hier aan mijn kant van de wereld (op de Antillen) zit de werkdag er nu op. Ik laat hem gewoon doorgaan, en dan zie ik morgenochtend wel of t gelukt is. Ben ik er morgen jullie tijd ergens in de middag weer. Bedankt in elk geval tot nu toe!

Dan krijg ik deze wizard. Als ik op next klik, vraagt hij Specify Volume Size. Gewoon deze wizard volgen?

Als ik op disk 1 klik heb ik de opties 'properties' en 'help'. Als ik op het vlak met de zwarte balk klik heb ik de opties 'new simple volume', 'properties' en 'help'. Ik zie geen formatteren of NTFS staan...

Oke, ik heb 'initialize disk' aangeklikt, maar het lijkt alsof er niets gebeurt?

Moet ik kiezen voor MBR of GPT?

Op mijn computer heb ik Windows Vista (daar zit ik op het moment achter) en op mijn laptop Windows 7.

Ik heb een (merkloze) externe harde schijf die het een tijdje gewoon deed, maar nu niet meer wordt herkend door computer en laptop. Het ding heeft een lampje dat aangaat als ik m aansluit op computer of laptop, maar verder gebeurt er niets. Ik heb voor de zekerheid de usb poorten gechecked met een andere externe HD en een USB stick en dat werkte allemaal prima. Het ligt dus echt aan deze schijf. Kan ik hier nog iets mee? Ik gebruikte het ding als een 2e back up, dus het is niet erg als ik de bestanden kwijt raak, maar ik zou die schijf toch wel graag gewoon nog kunnen gebruiken. ---------- Post toegevoegd om 14:23 ---------- Vorige post was om 14:19 ---------- Ik ontdek nu net dat de externe harde schijf wel bij 'safely remove hardware' staat. Oeh, daar waag ik me niet aan hoor! Ik denk dat ik nog net die computer opengeschroefd krijg, maar ik heb echt totaal geen verstand van wat er dan tevoorschijn komt... Ik zal eens zien of ik hier iemand kan vinden is die geheugen latjes kan versteken. En die me dan meteen even kan laten zien waar die uberhaupt zitten Als ik er niets aan doe, kan dat kwaad? Behalve dat het dan soms irritant is als de computer ineens opnieuw opstart. Zo veel last heb ik daar niet van, dus als het verder geen kwaad kan, dan laat ik het wel zo.

Ik heb zojuist van een vriend de tip gekregen om via System Recovery de bestanden te herstellen en dat is gelukt! (pfieuw..) Dan toch nog even de vraag over het opnieuw opstarten van mijn pc. Soms krijg ik ineens een blauw scherm met heel veel tekst, ik kan het niet lezen want het staat er 1 sec, dan start de computer opnieuw op. Ik heb op mijn werk pc opeens een heleboel programma's niet meer. Ik was bezig met wat ordenen van mappen en verwijderen van oude bestanden. Mijn computer startte uit zichzelf opnieuw op (gebeurt eens in de zoveel dagen. Ook een vervelend trekje, maar dit is nu belangrijker) en toen hij weer opgestart was, was mijn hele bureaublad leeg. Daarop staan normaal snelkoppelingen naar office programma's, adobe, etc. Ik dacht dat alleen de snelkoppelingen weg waren, maar de programma's zelf zijn weg. Ik kan geen bestanden meer openen. Ik dacht dat ik misschien iets belangrijks heb gedelete? Maar ik heb in de recycle bin, alleen wat office bestandjes staan, dus dat lijkt me het probleem niet. Wij hebben hier geen ict'ers oid, dus ik moet het zelf oplossen... Wat kan ik doen?
