Dag allemaal,
Sinds gisteren heb ik echt een ambetant probleem op mijn windows 8. Ik heb een ssd waar mijn bf4 en windows op staan. Nu wou ik dus vanaf nu al de rest die ik download of installeer op mijn D-schijf zetten (een gewone hdd). Dus na wat op gezocht te hebben vond ik iets nuttigs dacht ik. Ik deed dus het volgende:
I made a decision to load just Win 7 to the SSD C: drive, and all other program files and data to the G: drive The only obstacle was when loading some programs - they want to automatically install to the C: drive. A Google search found the solution. Had to make a registry edit, so that the G: drive is now the default. I was a bit nervous changing the registry (always am!), but it works like a treat.
Instructions are
1/ Open the Registry Editor by selecting Start > Run > Regedit.
2/ Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion.
3/ In the right pane, double-click ProgramFilesDir and change the path in the String Editor to the drive and folder you want (i.e. H:\Program Files). You must also modify the entry for ProgramFilesPath. If your path is H:\ like mine is, the path would be H:\Program Files
4/ Exit the Registry Editor and restart your computer. My understanding is that some programs still require installation in the C:\Program Files folder, but I haven't found any yet.

Nu kan ik dus vanalles niet meer doen. Teamspeak bijvoorbeeld die ook op :\C stond geinstalleerd kan ik niet meer openen. Zelfs toen ik het opnieuw gedownload had op mijn D schijf kon ik niet installeren. Zo heb ik dat dus met alle programma's. Ik vond dit dus zeer ergerlijk en dacht van ik zet de settings weer gewoon terug, maar dat blijkt nu dus niet meer te lukken. Regedit kan zelfs niet meer geopend worden. Ik krijg dus telkens deze melding: "Kan het bestand C:\windows\regedit.exe niet vinden. Controleer of de naam juist is ingevoerd....
Nu heb ik al vanalles geprobeerd, maar zonder succes. Hoe kan ik dit probleem oplossen? Het enige dat ik blijkbaar nog kan doen is mijn windows opnieuw installeren.
