BIG Problem

Hello,

I can't play online games.. I really don't know anything more to do.

Description:

Can't play (the most games) online. MW2, battlefield, etc.

When I want to connect everygame gives me a similar answer ''your network settings are not good, check you settings or something like that.

Some games do work! (rarely) PES 2010 and Counter strike. But counter strike is a little

weird because sometimes I have a ping of 2000 or 1200 and can't connect to the server.

WHAT DID I DO:

There is NO firewall on my , windows firewall is off, no nod32, no norton no nothing.

All the ports are OPEN. Checked it with Pfportchekcer, the ports are open.

There is further NO problem with the internet connection I can surf, etc.

BUT the most weird part!

I have a ADSL cable connection. When I turn on wireless ( I then tapp off internet from my neighbour), then EVERY game WORKS!! *** *** :S **

Obviously I think the stupid modem is not working, but it works fine, I have internet, I got a NEW one few days ago.

So my question, where could the problem be??

My pc: 4 gb RAM, geforce 9600GT , OS: Windows vista

How I am connected: Modem > Splitter > 3 pc's. : (none of the games also work on the other pc's ) One pc has windows xp and the other recently windows 7, also doesn't work.

Heb je enkel een modem of een modem/router combinatie? Kan je hiervan het merk en modelnummer opgeven?

Heb je een firewall in de router? Staat die aan- of uitgeschakeld?

Ik heb geen router, ik heb een splitter, die heeft geen firewall. De modem zelf is ook een router, die heeft een firewall, maar die kan niet uitgeschakeld worden.
