How to Fix: CPU Not Compatible with Windows 10 Error

Ik ben al een hele tijd bezig windows 10 te installeren op een laptop met windows 7.

Bij mijzelf is het gelukt echter op een andere identieke laptop welke op dezelfde dag aangeschaft is lukt het niet.

Ik krijg dan de melding zoals in de titel staat.

Ik heb me suf gezocht en vond uiteindelijk deze:

Ik heb het volgende gedaan, zoals onderaan vermeld staat:

Click Start and type in "cmd" (no quotes, and do NOT press Enter). Wait for the Command Prompt or CMD.EXE to appear in
the list, then right click it and select "Run as Administrator".
 
Highlight the text below with your mouse:

bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOn
 
Right click over top of the highlighted text and select "Copy" from the dialogue menu.
 
Go to the Administrative command prompt you opened up in Step #1. Right click in the middle of the command prompt window,
and select "Paste" from the dialogue menu. The text you copied in the previous step should now have paste into the command prompt. If it did not, repeat the step previous and try again. If it did, then press Enter on your keyboard to have the command execute on the command prompt.
At this point please bookmark the page in your browser, as you will need to restart (reboot) the machine after executing
the above command. When the reboot is complete, come back to this page and proceed to the next step.

 

Start dan de mediacreationtool voor window 10 (gratis te downloaden: https://www.microsoft.com/nl-nl/software-download/windows10 en klik op hulopprogramma nu downloaden.

En voila windows 10 wordt nu wel geinstalleerd!!

Graag gedaan, ik was er zo blij mee! Had al een softwarebedrijf gebeld en die zeiden dat ik dat kon vergeten.

Niet dus, werkt als een speer en stond er zelf verbaasd van, zelf op de microsoftsite is er niets over te vinden, ja dat het niet werkt!

goeie en bruikbare info, inderdaad, maar 't gaat dus alleen op als er al een windows versie (7 of hoger)  op die pc staat.

een verse w10 install (tenzij er al een w7-update-w10 op die hardware had gestaan) komt zo niet door die notcompatible-barriere.

Ja ik had er een windows 7 versie opstaan. Daar gaat het toch om? Of snap ik iets niet. Ik heb daarna gewoon de media creation tool voor windows 10 gedaan.

nee, je snapt het wel hoor.

het gaat mij erom dat deze oplossing alleen werkt in een update geval.

krijg je die foutmelding bij een geheel nieuwe install van w10 dan kan het niet werken.

een kleine aanvulling dus, niet meer...!
